ExpeditionExpedition contains whole wheat flour, rye flour, natural leaven, oats, buckwheat, barley, millet, polenta, flax and salt.  This is a very hearty bread that, if you were going on an expedition, is one you would surely want to take with you.  This bread is a great companion to soups and stews or can be a meal by itself.  It makes great sandwiches and toast.  Slice thin for sandwiches or thicker for a wonderful open face sandwich.

Expediton is 100% whole grain.  The rye flour adds additional lysine, an important amino acid, which gives this bread a superb protein profile.  The added seeds and grains supply additonal vitamins, minerals and protein.
